2. Gershon, Willoughby, Getz & Smith, LLC as a National Practice

All the attorneys at The Firm are licensed to practice law in Maryland. Some of the attorneys are licensed to practice in Washington, D.C. and/or other states. The attorney profile for any given attorney will indicate where the attorney is admitted to practice law. When The Firm is asked to review a possible case in another jurisdiction, we do so on a case-by-case basis in association with a licensed attorney in the relevant jurisdiction. Should we determine that the potential case has merit in our opinion, our local counsel will initiate the legal action and move the court to admit members of our firm to represent the clients in the case. Therefore, The Firm accepts and tries cases Nationwide on a “pro hac vice” basis.

3 . Gershon, Willoughby, Getz & Smith, LLC — a Law Firm with Doctor-Lawyers

Some, but not all, of the members of Gershon, Willoughby, Getz & Smith, LLC are trained medical doctors. The members of The Firm who have graduated from medical school and have medical degrees can be identified from the Lawyer Profiles on the Website. As practicing lawyers, however, they are not licensed to practice medicine and do not provide medical care.
