Ms. Cree graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, receiving her B.S. in Neuroscience and a minor in Chemistry. While at Pitt, she engaged in research involving synaptic transmission, neurochemical bases of behavior, and neurological diseases.
Following graduation, Ms. Cree began working at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. During her time at UPMC, Ms. Cree interacted with patients and families to ensure satisfactory understanding of medical procedures and advocate for patient safety and happiness.
While working full-time, Ms. Cree earned her Master’s degree in Biological Studies from Chatham University and subsequently attended the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University, graduating in May 2023 with a concentration in Intellectual Property Law. While in her final year of law school, Ms. Cree worked for a global technology company as an intellectual property intern. Additionally, she passed the Patent Bar Examination in fall 2022 while enrolled in a full course load.
Ms. Cree comes to Gershon, Willoughby, & Getz, LLC with an expansive knowledge of not only the law but also medicine as a result of her post graduate studies and employment at UPMC. She is pleased to be able to put her extensive knowledge of medicine and medical care to use for the benefit of injured victims and their families.
Ms. Cree is a member of and licensed to practice law in Maryland, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania and represents clients outside of these states pro hac vice on a case-by-case basis. She is also licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
